Oh, sweet baby Liam….he was such a little angel to photograph. What’s even better is that he is my nephew and I get to squeeze and kiss all I want, and then I get to watch him grow up!

Thanks for stopping by to check out my latest work and inspirations. I am an on-location photographer who lives in Northern Virginia and loves natural light. I am a mother of 3 and most of what I do is inspired by my own children. I like to think that my job is to photograph what childhood is made...the miracle of a newborn, the innocence of a baby, the curiosity of a toddler, and the ever-changing ways of a child. I love every expression that a child gives and everything in between. I love alleyways and open fields, tricycles and buggies, curls and freckles.
This blog will showcase recent sessions, wonderful clothing designers, special occasion products, and also a peek into my daily life as both a mother and photographer.

- I know without a doubt that I'm not biased--but Liam is one of the cutest babies ever, and you definitely did a wonderful job on the pictures! Loved the pictures of Cohen and Hillary also.
I was completely honored to travel to San Diego and photograph the wedding of JD and Sean. I did Sean’s senior photos 4 or 5 years ago in Virginia. Sean has a fun personality and the most amazing eyes. Her family moved to SoCal shortly after and when I received the call to photograph her wedding day, I was beyond thrilled. This family lives in such a beautiful area, but more importantly, they are a family filled with lots of love and togetherness. It was such a pleasure capturing this day for them!

- Beautiful job, Jennifer! I'm sure Sean is glad you made the effort to take her wedding pics.
2 horses, 3 Yorkies, and a gorgeous family made this session one to remember. In the mountains of Farmington, we found beautiful color and amazing backdrops. These daughters were as sweet and they were lovely, and I think its a little hard to pick out the mother here. She is gorgeous!

My Olivia is so lucky to have such amazing, kind friends after only living here for a month. Its like they have all been friends forever–the way they laugh and the inside jokes they have. They are all beautiful inside and out…

- Olivia surely is fortunate to have such darling girls as friends so soon after your move. However, Olivia certainly deserves the best because she is such a choice young lady. As a grandmother, I am so proud of her!
This is very special package right! A new little nephew for me! Hillary is a very dear sister-in-law to me and she is 1 awesome mom.

- Beautiful pictures of beautiful Hillary!
- Jen, holy moly! You've been bizay! Your amazing, really and it was so fun to catch up on all your new pictures. Izzy's growing up and so cute and all those babies were just adorable.
Yummy legwarmers!

- And you were worried about having landscape as beautiful as Virginia!?! Izzy looks just darling as usual.

- I love all of the pictures, especially the eight GQ guys nonchalantly strolling along the road together.
I can’t believe my favorite little girl is 1 year old. She is full of sassiness and personalities and entertains us all. I’m definitely her favorite aunt

- Ellie truly is a beauty! I'll bet Jenny was thrilled for your return to Virginia just so you could capture Ellie on her first birthday!

- Those eyes and lips!! He seems like such a happy baby. I'm sure Ashley was happy for your return also.
